OCTOBER 2023: ENTREPRENEURSHIP CONCLAVE

Jointly organised by Saraswat Chamber, World Konkani Centre, and UK&Co, this event was an exuberant celebration of innovation and empowerment. This two-day event, held on the 7th and 8th of October 2023, marked a dynamic and vibrant platform designed to foster the entrepreneurial spirit within the community. It provided a unique opportunity for budding entrepreneurs to showcase their business ideas to a distinguished audience of industry experts, seasoned investors, and venture capitalists. Notably, nearly 25 select startups were chosen to present their visionary business concepts at this remarkable gathering.   

The Conclave recognized the invaluable role of mentorship in the journey of entrepreneurship, and it thoughtfully brought together a cadre of seasoned professionals. These individuals, who had themselves navigated the challenges and achievements of building and scaling their businesses, lent their wisdom and guidance to emerging entrepreneurs. Among these notable figures were luminaries such as Mr. Dayananda Pai, Chairman and Managing Director of the Century Group, Mr. Mohandas Pai, Chairman of 3one4 Capital, Mr. Vinayak Pai, Managing Director & CEO of Tata Projects Limited, Mr. Rajendra Kamath, CFO of Reliance Retail Ltd, Mr. Praveen Kadle, former Managing Director & CEO of Tata Capital, and Mr. Shrinivas Dempo, Chairman of the Dempo Group.
